Koffee celebrates the launch of her new album ‘Gifted’ at the Truman Brewery in London. Our light tunnel was on hand to capture all of the action on the night.
Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, Koffee has become an artist on the world stage, releasing various dancehall, reggae, and rap hits.
In 2020, Koffee’s debut EP ‘Rapture’ won a Grammy for best reggae album, making her the youngest female artist to win the award at 19. Since then, Koffee has collaborated with various artists such as; John Legend, Gunna and J Hus to name a few.
At 22, Koffee released Gifted, her debut full-length album. Rolling Stone has reviewed this album as “living up to her great expectations with a brilliant album”. NME say the album is “another giant step forward for reggae’s bright new star”.
Spotify and Koffee celebrated the album release with a Jamaican themed party at the Truman Brewery in Shoreditch. The event featured Caribbean cuisine, a Wray and Nephew sponsored bar and our light tunnel, with the lights shining the Jamaican colours of green and yellow. The night also featured a performance of Gifted by Koffee.
The light tunnel offers exciting opportunities for guests to create content at events, and this occasion was no different. Fans could take pictures of themselves in the light tunnel and post them on social media with the hashtag #GIFTED. Koffee stopped by at the light tunnel to allow people to take individual photos with her. Gifted is an album portraying positivity, love and truth. You can see this when Koffee performs on stage and through her persona when meeting her.
As with most of our products, the light tunnel is available for bespoke hire. You can customise the colour of the lights, add branding to the panels and more. Please get in touch if you’d like to hear more about our light tunnel photo experience.
