The After-Party
The Official Brit Awards 2020 After-Party took place at the neighbouring Intercontinental O2 Arena. The Brit Awards curators filled the space with attractions to entice visitors to immerse themselves in a weird and wonderful world. From RuPaul’s Drag Race to samba girls and acrobatic performances. The party was an explosion on the senses and had all the ingredients to shape a memorable evening.
They stationed our interactive studio photography experience next to the 70s inspired bedroom and living room – a reminiscent of your Grandma’s living room. Nevertheless, there was a nostalgic feeling to the set, and that reflected towards the images on the night. Attendees of the event could have their photo taken with the drag queens appearing in the TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Guests also had the choice of dressing up in vivacious 1970s themed fancy dress. Austin Powers themed flower power outfits, shiny blue jumpsuits and leopard print hats were all popular on the night. The fun continued with confetti cannons firing, glittery rain fell upon the guests, and our cameras captured it all.
Our Brit Awards 2020 studio photography setup included two photographers, along with professional lighting strobes to ensure high-quality images. The bedroom stationed one photographer, the other was in the living room. We also supplied two sharing stations where guests could email and print their photos.
