Custom branded pod promoting the Arsenal x Adidas home kit launch campaign in London.
The first two weeks of July Arsenal FC sported their new kits at their launch event at the Adidas flagship store on Oxford Street. The 2019/20 kits see Adidas and Arsenal collaborating for the first time in 25 years.
The Arsenal x Adidas campaign begins with a promotional video showing what life is like in North London. The video starts with Arsenal legend Ian Wright saying “You ain’t born a Londoner, you are made one.” Players from both the current men and women’s teams make an appearance in the video. Notable features include the likes of Mesut Ozil, Vivianne Miedema, and Hector Bellerin. Life in North London portrays from friendly chats in local cafés to barbershop banter. Of course, the comedic yet iconic nature of the video wouldn’t be complete without a brief cameo from renowned actor and Arsenal fan Idris Elba.
About the event?
The Adidas store offered the chance for consumers to be the first to buy the new Arsenal x Adidas kit. However, this was not the only incentive to come along and visit the Adidas store. Radio station Rinse FM had a live show broadcasting at the kit launch. In addition to this, the event showcased a football freestyler. Customers could also use an interactive art station and grab a photo using the customised Arsenal x Adidas branded photo pod.
At the event, users could take their photo with the new Arsenal kit. They could then receive a copy via the instant printing and email sharing option on our branded photo pod. This allows the user to have fun taking their photo while increasing the brand awareness for Arsenal x Adidas.
