Soundcloud Go x The FADER show ft Little Simz at the Ace Hotel London
Soundcloud Go and The FADER took over Miranda at the Ace Hotel London for a special show with one of the UK’s rising rap stars Little Simz. The special collaborative event featured a personalised Soundcloud Go and The FADER photo pod and a social media hashtag printing station.
Little Simz debut LP ‘A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons’, took the music industry by storm and her live shows including a coveted spot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival have proved her tough rhyming lyrics, entrancing flow and unrivalled energy has taken her to the top of the UK rap scene. Simz was joined by a diverse roster of supporting artists: U.K. club experimentalist (and RiRi reinvigorator) Murlo, electronic songwriter Jamie Isaac, bubblegum-haired London grime/hip-hop DJ Snoochie Shy and The FADER resident DJs.
To capture Little Simz’ intimate show hosted by Soundcloud Go and The FADER, the lucky ticket holders grabbed a photo from the personalised open air photo booth and uploaded their selfies from the middle of the dance floor to Instagram or Twitter with the event hashtag #SCxFader. The SCxFADER bespoke wall created by the hosts was used as the background for the photo booth and featured images of the acts performing in a scrapbook type design. The photo wall was designed in the colours of Soundcloud and The FADER.

Anyone familiar with Soundcloud know the audio streaming platform is as much about listening to the music you love as it is sharing the sounds users create.
