Parklife 2014

Parklife 2014 with Bed Head by TIGI

Originally born out of the Mad Ferret festival in 2010, Parklife has become one of the most sought after music festivals in the UK. The festival is jointly organised by a number of groups including the Manchester mecca for raving, The Warehouse Project. The Parklife Weekender has already been described as a post-student exam extension of the infamous rave creators legendary nights in the heart of Manchester.

The incredible line up the Parklife Weekender includes Foals, Rudimental, Disclosure, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, London Grammar, Annie Mac and hip hop royalty, Snoop Dogg, who briefly changed his name last year to Snoop Lion after showing alarming symptoms of a mid-life crisis.

For this year’s festival, we’ve collaborated with Bed Head by TIGI to cause hair anarchy backstage in the VIP area. The Bed Head team will be presenting the latest styles straight from the stage and we’ll be there to capture the celeb hairstyles with our interactive photo booth. Watch out for the all-important #beadheadbackstage on Twitter, where you can keep up to date with all the good and bad hair days.

The Bed Head Team also offered one lucky person the opportunity to visit the hallowed turf (and most probably not muddy) VIP area backstage at Parklife, by liking the Bed Head Facebook page.

We’ve previously teamed up with the Bed Head team backstage at Wireless Festival last year, where we were joined by the likes of JLS, Misha Laura Whitmore, Joey Essex and the TOWIE gang all jumping in our booth for a quick snap.

The festival is expecting 70,000 festival revellers per day to stumble around its new home at Heaton Park near Prestwich. The festival moved from Platt Fields to Heaton Park last year to accommodate for demand. The darling of the Manchester festival scene, the Parklife Weekender has helped to keep the illustrious music heritage of the city alive and continues to push boundaries for cutting edge music. Let’s just hope the weather holds out this year….

Parklife Weekender, 7th -8th June, Heaton Park, Manchester.
