What happened when Megabooth took over the Brit Awards 2014

Short skirts, sharp suits, alcohol aplenty and a red carpet bestowed upon by high-profile VIPs that make the coveted guest list for the capital’s biggest music awards evening, the Brit Awards 2014.

Now in our 3rd consecutive year showcasing at the Brits, we had three interactive social photo pods, a classic black taxi photo booth adorned with the Brit Awards branding and two photographers ensuring that no stone was left unturned…

The photo booths played host to Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Adele and even Jimi Hendrix. Ok, that’s not strictly true, their wax figures from Madame Tussauds London provided the backdrop for our stylish photo pods.

The pods combined with the celebrities wax figures brought hours of entertainment to the masses, especially when the champagne was in full flow and the watershed for unadulterated fun was nothing but a distant memory.

Brit nominees Tom Odell, John Newman, Jake Bugg and London Grammar hovered around our black taxi only to be shunned away by Katy Perry and Elle Goulding’s flamboyant backing dancers turning our taxi into awash of vibrant colours and at times a steamy affair.

The Northern Soul dancers who joined Grammy Award winning musicians Nile Rogers and Pharrell Williams (clad in his famous Vivienne Westwood hat that has taken on a life of its own) on stage for the final performance of the night, still had time to show the Megabooth team a few moves before hopping into our cab to take home their precious memento from the evening.

Mad Hatters Tea Party Brit Awards 2014

On an evening filled with cheers, probably tears and plenty of beers, the weird, wacky and wonderful Mad Hatters tea/after party made for a fitting end before the last of the night owls stumbled home…

More of the same in 2015 please!
