Manchester Wedding Venues Round Up
We’ve recently launched our photo booth hire service in Manchester (no more travel costs from London, yay!) and over the coming months we’ll be working at a number of wedding venues in and around the city. Manchester is full of hidden gems, from industrial warehouses to bewitching Victorian mansions and historic city landmarks, here are some of our favourites…
Victoria Warehouse is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and offers an industrial backdrop perfect for an unconventional wedding filled with character and style. Victoria Warehouse is almost a 100 years old and is a true symbol of Manchester’s proud industrial history.
The venue offers two unique spaces, The Bays and The Cotton Sheds.
The multi purpose Cotton Sheds space is inspired by the Industrial Revolution by combining a raw and urban backdrop with exposed walls, stone floors and rustic furnishings. The space offers simplicity and a blank canvas for bride and groom to add their personal touch. The Bays is the more intimate space of the two and it’s raw industrial aesthetic is ideal for both contemporary and traditional ceremonies. Hotel Football – Heaven
Set inside Manchester Utd’s theatre of dreams, Old Trafford, Heaven is a truly unique wedding venue that boasts an experience to a remember for Manchester Utd fans and beyond – except if you are on the blue side of Manchester, then Heaven may not be you…
The room has been designed as an astro-turf football pitch, and although that doesn’t sound like traditional wedding decor, the greenery under foot combines all the benefits of an indoor venue with the natural beauty of being outdoors. The venue situated on the rooftop features a glass-arched ceiling with stunning views of Old Trafford and Greater Manchester. The minimalistic space gives the bride and groom scope to decorate to their own taste and style – find out more.
Great John Street
Tucked away in the heart of the city, the bewitching Great John Street wedding venue is an original Victorian school house that has been transformed into a chic luxury townhouse hotel. This intimate wedding venue draws you in as soon as you step inside. They’ve combined it’s traditional charm and elegance with modern style and chic decor with a pewter bar and extravagant overhead chandelier. The showpiece at the venue is the south facing Rooftop Lounge and Playground that provide the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony.
Whether you are planning an intimate wedding or a grand occasion, the venues offers plenty of choice for your big day. For more information on their packages visit Eclectic Hotel website.
