The enchanted forest graffiti Taxi

We took our iconic London Black Taxi Photo Booth to the streets of Shoreditch for a makeover and a starring role in MTV reality documentary ‘The Buried Life’, about 4 friends completing a list of ‘100 things to do before you die’.

The job of transforming the taxi into an enchanted forest with gargantuan Magical Mushrooms garnishing the sides, was freehand graffiti artist Mr. Cenz aka Julian Plethean. Mr. Cenz has been scribbling on surfaces since 1988 when he discovered the world of hip-hop. After several brushes with the law he started to search for ways of developing his skills legally by experimenting with other mediums such as painting and printmaking. His work still remains influenced by his old school roots but with a nod towards a more contemporary culture in its abstract and graphic nature.

Our always quirky graffiti taxi designs haves been inspired by the psychedelic 60’s and 70’s, when flower power, peace and love were the only things that mattered… even though no one in the Megabooth office was alive in them two decades we like to think the world was a simpler place…

Anyway, Mr. Cenz used the Fairway Cab to show a young Lebanese artist some skills; you can watch the video of the taxi transform into a wacky enchanted forest where your mind can escape into an Alice and Wonderland type world filled with magical woodlands with witches, trolls, magical animals, fairy tale cottages and all manner of mythical things…. Too far?

See for yourself….
