Grow Wild Awards 2016 at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
Kew Garden’s special Grow Wild Awards evening at the Royal Botanic Gardens takes place on 21 October 2016.
We’ve continued to support Kew Garden’s Grow Wild project throughout 2016 at Morning Gloryville, Latitude Festival and the official Grow Wild tour. The Grow Wild initiative of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is the UK’s biggest-ever wild flower campaign supported by the Big Lottery Fund. The Grow Wild Awards will celebrate businesses and charities for their efforts on supporting the initiative and reward youth projects and community projects with funding of £500 to £4,000. Funding will go direct to communities that want to bring people together to transform a communal space by sowing and growing UK native wild flower and plants. Selected Youth projects will be awarded £500 to either complete a Transform A Space or Get Creative project inspired by wild flowers. The initiative has funded 232 projects so far, creating lively networks across the UK – find out more about the Grow Wild youth projects.
