Boodles Boxing Ball – Branded Taxi Photo Booth
The hotly anticipated Boodles Boxing Ball takes place September 12th in grandiose setting of Grosvenor House Hotel. The first Boodles Boxing Ball took place in 2002 and since then the charity event has evolved into much more than just the boxing. That said, it’s the amateur bouts between some of London’s most famous faces that attracts well over 1000 well connected Londoners including Royals, high society and some of the country’s brightest stars.
James Amos, Director of Boodles “In 2002, we put on a charity boxing evening for a few friends to box against each other. It started out as a bit of fun, but ended up a huge success – discounting my broken nose,” says James Amos, Director of Boodles. “It put the wheels in motion for the Boodles Boxing Ball, the first of which took place in 2006. We were honoured that Prince William and Kate Middleton could join us and, as a result, the event made front-page news. We haven’t looked back since.”
James went on to say,“It’s a big event for Boodles, but a very personal one too. It’s most definitely not your typical corporate function – we see it as an event put on by friends, for friends. The feedback is always incredible, and the generosity of guests amazes me too.” The last event in 2013 raised over £200,000 for children’
The Boodles Boxing Ball will raise funds for ‘The Gordon Ramsay Foundation’ in association with Cancer Research UK. We’ve supplied Boodles with a black branded taxi photo booth – in 2013 there was a few familiar faces who swung by to get a quick snap in our iconic London cab.
